I Warned That This was Getting Political…

I usually refrain from politics. I am no politician. I detest politics because to me it is equal to corruption.  You have people vying for power, but they want that power and are negligent of the people who are subject to them.  In the name of progress, they destroy–lives and land. In the name of security they lie and take from the people.  In the name of “betterment for society” they take what is not rightfully theirs to take or preside over that which they have no business getting involved in.  This is what America has come to. No person knows how to mind their own business and let people be who they are, and I think that they do not care how many cultures and peoples they wipe out to make THEIR world a better place.   I could care less who one marries, but I do care that our children are the ones who pay the price for all the division this country has become embroiled in.

Yet nobody seems to know or care that this nation is imploding.  As long as  they get to watch their next NFL game, episode of “The Voice”, “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant“,  NCIS or whatever, they do not care that they are being trampled upon and laughed at by those in Washington D.C.

We are to blame for this.  For too long, America has sat back and let their next door neighbors run over them–with regard to the subjects of how to live their lives and how to raise their children.  Well if some of these people had stood up to these neighbors and raised their kids right, our prisons wouldn’t be over-crowded–and yet THIS is the crowd running the country?  It is time for America to take back its schools, its children, its local governments, state governments and then the Federal Government. It is time to clean house.

Now we can become involved in yet ANOTHER  Middle Eastern conflict.  I would like to know how it is that usually the White House circumvents Congress when given half a chance and now all of a sudden these “representatives of the people” are going to give this person free license to enable more blood of our precious sons and daughters to be shed?  These people say that those who agree with the Constitution cling to “guns and religion”…Well my question is this: “What do our enemies in the Middle East cling to”?  What? I can’t hear you.  However,  I think I just heard a pin drop in Washington D.C.

Great Britain took to the streets and stopped involvement in this and it is time the moms in America did the same thing. If the dads want to join in, that’s even better!  If this offends some of my friends, I make no apology for it. My son almost died and he is never going to be the same. I do NOT want to see any other person endure what my boy had to deal with. I have no desire to see the plethora of flag-draped coffins that would come out of this disaster either.  Not that D.C. gives a damn.  They really don’t care about us as a people. However maybe this is something we should look at:

http://www.theonion.com/articles/poll-majority-of-americans-approve-of-sending-cong,33752/

Perhaps if all members of Congress were required to go and live in a place like this for six weeks or 4 months they would think twice before getting our children, brothers, sisters, parents, etc…killed.  Look , we sign their paychecks. They are supposed to be working for us, but in the past 8 years, they haven’t. It is time to put them in their place or vote them out. They don’t care about you, me or anyone else. If they did they would be listening to the majority of people, who disagree with this administration, its policies and the way Congress is allowing itself to get stomped on at every turn because the Senate doesn’t give a damn either. Wake up, people! We and our children have been  at their disposal long enough!

How much longer do we have to pay for the mess this country has gotten itself into with the sweat of our brow and the blood of our sons and daughters?  Take a long pause and think about what I just asked.   I do know this much, I will support NO CANDIDATE from either party in the next round of elections if they support getting us into another war.  It is my tax money that enables them to live among the 1-2% people keep complaining about. Maybe we should take that back and the power over our bank accounts as well. You do know that they gained power over your bank account, right? Read the Affordable Care Act in its entirety and get back to me. They gained far too much power through it. Here is the link to it. WARNING: It is over 900 pages long so we should also be voting out the congressmen/women who voted for this WITHOUT reading it.

At least if you read it, you will KNOW what is in it which is more than I can say for the ones who passed this thing and thus betrayed us all.

http://www.kaiserhealthnews.org/final-health-reform-bill-patient-protection-and-affordable-care-act.aspx

In short, we have been betrayed by them and are slowly being enslaved. That is their real goal and I want better than that for my sons and my grandson…It is sad that a majority of our representatives in Congress now only represent their own interests and not the American people who put them into office.

A Passionate Hater of Bullying…That Would Be Me…

I want to make something clear to my friends and to my family. I loathe bullying whether it be school bullying or workplace bullying. I believe that stronger discipline must be used in public schools to stop school bullying because allowing it and/or enabling it and many school administrators and fake experts tend to do this, I fully believe that it leads to more devious and often violent criminal behaviors in adults.

I do not believe bullies fully change with time if they end up in positions of power. I believe this overloads their ego and makes them even worse. That being said, I am going to do all in my power to put a stop to this trend. Bullying is not the same as it was when I was in school. It’s not just the occasional fight or being shoved. In many cases it is assaults by multiple people, sexual assault, emotional abuse and some other things adults can go to jail for, like sharing inappropriate photos of a teenager on the net, cyber-bullying, etc…However, in some locales it is left up to the school district as to whether or not to press charges. Many won’t because if the criminal-in-the-making goes to juvenile hall, they’ll lose money for the school.  A school usually gets X amount of dollars for each student enrolled there from the government and state funding coffers.

Guess who pays for all this crap and such? We do…Carry on…In fact, RAGE on!

If you want crime rates reduced in adults, start taking care of the problems with America‘s schoolchildren who often learn these behaviors from their older relatives and stop letting these fake counselors give the bullying victim “resilience training” which only reinforces the idea that they must have done something to bring this on and need to change something about themselves. We should NEVER be penalizing a bullying victim–EVER and that is what resilience training is. It’s not the victim that needs to be worked on via therapy and/or disciplined, it’s the bully and/or the family thereof…PERIOD!

School is About to Begin, and Bullying Season NEVER Ends…

I am about to share a link here that many people will feel uncomfortable about when they watch it. The mother of this autistic child is disabled herself. She can’t protect her boy, not even in their own home if it comes down to it. I feel that the person responsible for this deed is every bit as dangerous as your local neighborhood psychopath. I hope this person gets caught and I think it fitting that this person should be totally OSTRACIZED by society.  There is so much hate in this person’s heart that he or she (and it is signed she, but one never knows) that this make him/her truly outright dangerous to others they don’t consider to be “fit” to live among us…

http://www.buzzfeed.com/hnigatu/the-incredibly-offensive-letter-sent-to-a-mother-with-an-aut?bffb

We live in an age where cyber bullying and such is on the rise. It is as if with each passing school year, the next generation is getting worse and worse. It is difficult enough when a child is bullied in school and then parents have to deal with all this crap therapy about “making your kid bully proof” is not going to solve it because it isn’t the VICTIM that is the problem. It is the perpetrator who is the problem and we need to get back to setting SEVERE consequences for cases of bullying that are as severe as letters like this, as well as physical and sexual bullying.

I am really tired of these so-called experts (and they are not experts because their therapies often fail)  preaching that all kids can be made to be “resilient” when nothing that kid did causes them to be singled out other than their appearance, gender, income level, color of their skin, sexual orientation or religion.  The bullying victims are targeted in much the same way a crime victim is–school is only the “rehearsal”. The real world is the “production” on stage.

Even Shakespeare said, “All the world is a stage.” and it is. However in a good production, the villain doesn’t usually win.  In this case the bullies are winning–or it at least seems that way. When these experts were allowed to come in and create diagnoses for bullying behaviors and phony treatments, the suicide rate among teens increased. These experts are quacks. Some of them do not have a license to counsel but are journalists riding on the coat tails of one  who never gets named, while using the case of a dead girl who committed suicide over the bullying to further his/her own career. I do not respect such writers. They disgust me.

Only one journalist bothered to name her source of information–and she wrote her book on the back of a dead victim. No names here but many know to whom I am referring. I am simply really fed up with the victims being further victimized or made to feel that they are collateral damage when it is the one attacking them that needs to be strongly disciplined.

These need to be strongly addressed in school or these bullies will be in the workforce terrorizing those under them.  When they are caught the price should be complete dismissal–especially if that person is an educator or a police officer.  If in sensitive fields like this, they should also have their licenses/credentials revoked.  These are the last people we want molding the minds of our children, OR having the power to mess up our lives.

I find it even more reprehensible that a so-called “adult” bullies would engage in such behavior to begin with and be allowed to continue it while hiding behind union reps and such…Keeping THEM away from all children is essential in my book.  In my opinion they are as dangerous to a child as a pedophile is.

Yale’s War on Women…Part 2…

This post is only going to put forth some rather inflammatory questions. Why isn’t Yale facing the same scrutiny and penalty in the public eye  that Penn State had to face over that child sex abuse crap/Joe Paterno controversy?  Are the leaders at Yale saying it is quite alright to abuse women by only giving reprimands and downgrading rape on campus to a charge of “Non-Consensual Sex“?  Who are they to decide penalty for what IS still a crime in this country? Better yet, who came up with that policy? Whoever came up with it should be exposed publicly for being such an insensitive, uncaring excuse of a human being.

No campus, be it high school, college, technical institute or whatever has any right to re-write the laws of the state they were built in OR federal law. The last time I checked, rape was (and still is) a felony.  As far as I am concerned, they are aiding and abetting criminals with such policies. The Attorney General for that state should also be raising hell at this point! Why is there only silence?  If there is a rape, they should all be REQUIRED to call the police immediately as they are not qualified to investigate a crime on campus. I am not even going into how many missing women ended up dead because colleges don’t report them missing when they don’t show up for classes and their belongings are still in their dorm rooms either…Yes, this has happened. Read the news!

Get real people! No one is exempt from the law–ivy league or working Joe… They are certainly not above them. Any college campus be it Yale, Harvard, Columbia University or whatever should be REQUIRED to report these crimes against women to the police in order to keep their certification status as well. If they fail to do so, they should be put on probation and if this behavior continues, SHUT THEM DOWN.  Their female students deserve a lot more respect than what such policies afford.  I am sick of these people re-writing terms to “sweeten” them so that they are watered down to mean nothing.

Yet we watch and still do nothing.  NOTHING…What is wrong with us? Do we not see that these policies are designed to bully us and reduce us to chattel again?  Is this what we want for our future women in this country? I don’t think that for one minute, and I do not think that Elizabeth Cady Stanton or Susan B. Anthony would disagree on that point either. If one basic tenant of our rights as women gets eroded, they all will eventually be eroded.

This is where women’s rights groups (Hear that N.O.W.?) should be raising hell but they won’t. The women’s rights movement has been very fragmented and disjointed for many, many years and if the women cannot unite long enough to take care of this, that organization might as well call it a day in this country.  They keep complaining that it is the GOP trying to take all of our rights away, yet Yale has turned out a vast number of political leaders.  Many of those from bygone eras are doing somersaults in their graves right now, and I am very certain of that. Why complain about the GOP when our very complacency as a group has rendered our voices to be so ineffective?

We spend more time arguing over gay rights and abortion rights than anything–and that is what these clowns at YALE are counting on. Put it aside for now. This is a bigger battle in this war and it is much more important. Anyone who thinks otherwise has never faced a rapist.

How can we raise hell for our rights when we cannot even agree on what those rights are? Alice, are you listening?  It doesn’t matter if we are Democrat, Republican, gay or straight, pro-life or pro-choice–we have to stand toe to toe against such policies to protect our daughters and grand daughters. Doesn’t anyone hear what I am saying? Get off the PC bullshit AND off of the ultra-religious bandwagon so that we can actually get something done to benefit all of us for a change.  We need to show these so-called “leaders in education” what we think of such policies and let them know that we will not stand for them.

Nobody deserves to be raped or abused and any policy that runs contrary to that particular train of thought should and MUST be challenged both legally and via demonstrations. It is time to stop shining the seats with our butts and take action. This is the beginning of a huge threat to our very existence as women in a free country.  It starts with such idiotic policies at the educational level. They really think we don’t care and will say nothing. WE have to prove them wrong!  It is going to be up to us to keep our freedom because no one else is speaking for us. NO ONE. Not N.O.W…Not Concerned Women for America…NO ONE.  That fact in itself is tragic. Someone needs to take up the reigns and guide the chariot. Where is that person?  Come on, Alice…Wake up!  Think!

It starts at the educational level. It starts with raising hell at Yale…Can we not unite long enough to rein them in?  Here’s an oddity for you: Both Bushes, Bill Clinton, Gerald Ford, and William H Taft all graduated from Yale.  Being that Yale churned out 5 presidents, one would think their standards of behavior would be more strict–but HELL NO!  They went back to the Medieval Era long before the GOP had a chance to get that going full steam–which is something the Democrats accuse them of on a regular basis…Well, if we sit silently and do absolutely nothing, the ultra-right wing of the GOP won’t need our help now will they?

We Aren’t Born Free…Women, ‘Tis All An Illusion (or Bullshit)….

Warning: This post contains adult language. If you are an adult, then you’ll have to deal with it (mostly the word “bullshit”). Once again, I’ve gotten into an all time, funk–aka one of my bullshit moods. It is within this realm that anything might emit from my pen or keyboard–and this is not  (pause here)  “The Twilight Zone” so even I do go off into left field on this particular venting session, it is hopefully a lapse into a temporary case of posterior cranial rectumitis…If so, I’ll be back to my normal bright and bouncy self in a few days, hopping around like Tigger on steroids…Maybe it would sound like this–then again, maybe not… 😉  By the way both the sped up and slowed down versions are on here!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rek6ZL9tHYk

We begin in confinement.  We begin in a very small place, that adjusts with us as we grow.  We wait to break free,  It is warm, solitary and quiet there, and then we’re sent into another form of confinement–with strange voices, bright as hell lights and we freeze our ass off until we’re sent to our new quarters. No one understands us there either, so they learn to communicate with us by trial and error, and as we haven’t yet realized that we are as humans truly born astride a grave (as Beckett says), they eventually learn to interpret what certain cries mean and such… We are then confined in a home, sometimes full of love, sometimes not. That depends on those charged with protecting and guarding over us.  Some shield us from the fighting and such. Others take no thought at harming us by acting out their anger.  Others actually love and care for one another, so the confinement seems more like a safe, secure place with perks and such…That is, until we assert our own individuality. God forbid we do that!

We have to be carbon copies and if not, all the arrows become pointed at us:  “I didn’t raise you to be that way!”, “You should never have had that kid!”, or better yet, “I don’t care what your parents say, I’m all you’ve got and you’ll damned well do what I want you to do!”  That last line did not work very well with one of the matrons my dad brought home either. That was when the riot began.  It was more like a strike.  Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose and sometimes winning doesn’t seem worth it in the end.  In my case, I still question it.  However the fourteen year old I was, who had to endure much torture in that cell, didn’t–at least not until well after she was grown.

Then more of those “what if’s” crept in to antagonize her a bit… Those “what if’s” from our past are only pictures of former cells we were locked into, but if we have a place to escape to, even if for a little while, the cells we spend our lives in and out of are much more bearable. I for one, am glad that I am getting older. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I sure as hell don’t want to see what this world is going to be in the next 50 years.  Why? It will only get worse. People become more selfish with each passing generation and want to control everyone around them–thus making neighborhoods and such “mini-prisons” all in the name of what they hold to be “valuable” and it is not always their property, but they are really trying to force their way of life on other people. It really is to the point that where when someone says to me, “We are born free…” I strongly object to that.  We are not free when rules and such of one segment of society are forced upon the rest. I find it ironic that we have to fight to maintain our individuality as artists and such because someone says, “Oh…this is what is marketable.” OR “That is what is correct to say.”  That’s bullshit.  It is what they want to market to keep others from exercising critical thinking skills.

They have conformed and they want the audience to conform to their own way of thinking, and that is manipulation, which I also feel is bullshit. Quite frankly, this whole idea of the “world community/village” is bullshit.  There will always be leaders fighting and arguing over who will control this bitch of an orb, and if people are dumb enough to allow it, then it is their own fault when their children and grandchildren suffer for their lack of foresight.  It is always about what people and their leaders want HERE AND NOW and that is where the problem lies. This world is so riddled with problems and complications it cannot be corrected in OUR lifetime so what have we done? Passed the bullshit on to our children and grandchildren to deal with. Welcome to the world, where we aren’t born free…and probably never will be again. THAT is what the media fails to tell you all.  And hopefully tomorrow, I’ll be my bright and cheery self again and will be proven wrong, but it may take a week…Or two…or three. I just really got peeved at this article below and it set off a chain reaction in me…As a woman, this is only a reminder to what I feel is true, at least tonight…Here’s your “war on women“, Alice

http://jezebel.com/yale-officially-declares-nonconsensual-sex-not-that-b-988475927 And a lot of our leaders have come from that University…That should really piss you off.

And I do like the one below!

Nana Weighs in on Paula Deen…

Look…I don’t like the use of the “N” word–period! I didn’t let offenders call each other that around me either when I worked at the prison, either. If someone is going to get offended by another group using it, then it is a word that should never be used at all in the English language when speaking to each other. I taught my kids this as well. If it is okay for one group to use it but not another, that is not acceptable. It creates problems that result in OTHERS being attacked for their skin color as well and that is RACISM regardless of who does it. That being said, I’m touching on one more thing here. Paula Deen…The woman did use the word in private conversations 27 years ago and when helping to plan her brother’s wedding. That does not mean she conducted herself as racist in the workplace. However Bubba Hiers did. HE is the one that made African-Americans enter and exit through the back doors and such.

I do not think this woman suing her is going to win the lawsuit because anything used in a private conversation off the workplace premises is not admissible in court in any suit of this nature–and the incidents in question happened while being supervised mainly by her brother at HIS establishments. She’s going after Paula because she is the goose that laid the golden egg. It’s that simple. She seems to have forgotten that if Paula Deen had not fought her brother, she’d have never gotten that job in the first place. He did not want to hire a woman. I also think the media coverage of this is nothing more than trying to stereotype the entire South. Look what they did with Dawg the Bounty Hunter…Do you think for one minute if someone from NJ  or CA were to do that they’d bother covering it? No. they did it because these two are from below the 36th parallel and if they can run a story that will make the South look bad, they’ll take that ball and run with it almost every single time.

Seriously…Remember the story about Vidor, TX some years back or Jasper, TX? Let me refresh your memory here:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/12/08/oppenheim.sundown.town/

Granted it was written in 2006 but makes a good point.  Here’s another one:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_James_Byrd,_Jr.

My only question here is, why was Barack Obama the one to sign in the legislation about these hate crimes? This should have been done a LONG time ago.

The ONLY time the media got away with this bullshit in CA was during the O.J. trial when they covered Mark Fuhrman’s testimony.  I do believe that there was so much focus on his use of the “N” word that the real evidence was ignored. In short, I think O.J. did it. I used to think he was innocent, but knew who did it, until other stuff came to light after the trial was over.

If members of the media are going to accuse someone of being racist, they need to open their eyes, quit shining their anchor chairs with their asses and look around them. Racism is alive and well in America and it isn’t limited to white people.  As far as I’m concerned, if a race war ever were to start, it will be because of the media antagonizing everyone by covering such stories. I’m sure Charlie Manson will gloat from his prison cell if he’s alive and that happens.  Coverage of this is a waste of time but it was well planned and calculated to feed the beast of another “-ism” that has a term of its own. It is called regional bias.

Let the courts handle them if it’s workplace related…It’s time for the media to learn how to STHU.  America is divided enough without the media covering this crap because the real aim is to further divide the country down geographical lines.

It’s the “Nightlife” Special”…

This is one of my FAVORITE movies…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIGLOd241xw

How many of you have actually seen this? Well, it came to mind again recently.  On July 4th weekend, I truly regret that I had not one single fifth to enjoy…In fact, I haven’t had a drink in months and when I do, it’s on the weekends–usually or on days off. However I did receive 2 pints of the “Nightlife Special” (A+)  courtesy of the Martin County ER in Stanton, TX. The staff was great!

To begin, I felt really weak and light-headed at work. As I was driving toward Stanton, I knew something wasn’t right. Things started to appear to be “brighter” than usual…I decided to get to the ER.  When I got there, I revealed that I had been bleeding for 30 days straight–no stopping in sight.

They did blood work and I waited for what seemed like forever, but it really wasn’t that long, I don’t think. I got frustrated and walked to the nurses station. I cut up with them a bit and had them laughing before the doctor came back in…He looked at my blood work and said, “I do not see how you are walking.”  I asked him what he meant and he told me “Your hemoglobin has dropped to 5 and the normal is around 15.  You need to get back on the bed. You need at least 2 pints of blood.”

Well, dammit…Can’t blame this one on Vlad…Poor guy…I asked the doctor, “Well does this mean I now qualify as an honorary cast member of the “Walking Dead”?…” He just smiled and said, “You’ll feel a lot better when you get the blood.”

Then I called my boss and filled him in on the details since I had left work.  He’s a very gracious man and he knows I”m scared to death.  On top of this, I am a needle phobe. Skip the lollipop, I’d rather get booze infused, myself. That is how much needles frighten me.  Needless to say, by the time I was done, I felt like a used up voodoo doll with no place left to stick.  I have a follow-up on the 12th and I’m going to have to see a gynecologist and a hematologist at some point.  As it turns out I have pernicious anemia.  A former doctor took me off of iron, without doing blood work and diagnosed me as going through menopause. The diagnosis is incorrect.  I’m NOT going through that as previously thought.  However, this anemia is dangerous. I always did take iron and B supplements, but had stopped the iron. That is what brought me to this point.  To date, I don’t recall ever having to have had a blood transfusion until now, but I feel it saved my life.

When I called my sister she told me that I was diagnosed with anemia as a child. I must have been very small because I don’t remember it, but I am glad they told me now.

Gee…This could have gotten really, really bad…In fact, it did.  I’m on light duty for a while and I am trying to get my system back on track. That being said, please keep my family in your thoughts as they are very concerned. Until then, here’s my favorite clip from “Nightlife”!  Ciao! And check out the scene with the housekeeper! :

Nana Remembers the Steps…

I remember well when Dad put these steps in...

I remember well when Dad put these steps in…

I remember being around 5 years old and bugging Dad to take me to the store with him at one point when he was working on these. He’d take us to the store, Mann’s Grocery and we’d get either a Nu-Grape, Pepsi, RC or a Dr. Pepper on those hot summer days. He built these so we could get in and out house easier–especially since his youngest daughter (MOI) was such a bloody clutz…  Today they will be covered–but not removed. We are having to put in a wheelchair ramp for my mother now.

Ironically, he built the steps for the same purpose this ramp is being built–to make going into and out of the house easier. My mother fell a few days ago and has broken her back in two places.  Age has ravaged her, but it has not broken her spirit. She is slowly making her way up another set of steps into the unknown–just as all of us will.  Hopefully, we’ll have her around for a while longer. I’m not ready to let her go. Thankfully she is up, alert and eating again but we were very scared at first.

And soon, these steps will be covered, hidden from sight just as my dad now is.  Yet I feel his presence in my life today.  I remember the love he had for us, not wanting to see us fall and get hurt, when he put those steps in.  The ramp being put in is also a poignant reminder that one day I will be an orphan, and the little girl in me is not ready for that right now anyway.  For now though, I am grateful that the day I dread is not here–and hopefully not for a very long time.

Food for Thought: Don’t Go on YouTube if You’re a Dumb Twit!–Nana’s on a Roll!

Good morning everyone! Now that I have gotten your attention I want to say a few things before you view this video that Carly Taylor posted on YouTube.  First off, she is a con artist. Secondly, she is racist.   This video is  full of foul-language but I used it for a training tool.  I even called Dunkin’ Donuts corporate over this and demanded they do something about this woman because what she is doing in the process of breaking a few federal laws is scamming for a free meal.  I say she is scamming because she waited for the next shift to show up with a video camera to harass what appears to be a minor (Needi) at work.

Not only did she make terroristic threats toward the staff, she also videotaped customers and staff without getting a SIGNED release prior to posting to YouTube. If she has a business degree, as she claims, she truly needs a refund because she got short-changed and her lawyer (if she didn’t lie about having one) should be disbarred for not telling her to STHU and leave the video camera at home.  Anyone who appears on that video can sue her and that is one of the reasons Dunkin’ Donuts needs to file an injunction against her since she had no permission to be video taping in their establishment.  Most journalists won’t even do this crap unless they are investigating ILLEGAL activity in order to expose it.

She wouldn’t have lasted 20 seconds in my store. I promise you all that she would have been escorted out in handcuffs within 60 seconds.  This is what SHOULD have happened:

1. Management should have been present. If they were, it wasn’t indicated.

2. Management should have directed her and warned her that she would have to leave if she didn’t turn off the camera.

3. I would have stated on camera, you do not have permission to use my image or that of any other employee on any public forum. Please turn off the video camera and we will get your meal.

4. If she refused, I would not have spoken further given the fact that she was belligerent and making threats, I would have gotten her locked up.  As I said she violated several federal laws here–one of which was to make a terroristic threat toward staff and NO establishment should EVER tolerate such abuse.

5. Corporations need to give all staff training for these situations and the authority to take action when this is taking place in case management is occupied with vendors and such.  The remedy for such issues should not be limited solely to management staff. Any employee should be able to kick such people out of the establishment. It is common sense.

Here is the link to the video (Warning: Again, this video does contain foul-language!) :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7UElWxqGIs

If there is one thing Nana hates, it is racism. If Needi (the employee threatened) was a minor, I hope her parents also filed charges.  To me Ms. Chapman is nothing more than a con artist trying to get her 15 minutes of fame, but if you read the comments under her video, it obviously backfired on her, and rightfully so.

Here is another link about this to look at.  It’s a pretty good article too for coming from “The Smoking Gun”…

I was so angry when I saw this that I used this video to train staff on how to handle this situation.

Is There Any Way to Phase a Terrorist?

I am seriously so tired of all this experimenting our government does with these terrorists to get them to talk. I have the perfect solution to deal with terrorists both foreign and domestic–especially for those who come here from other countries to claim citizenship under false pretenses.  It will sound strange but it would work because they would receive no word…No news…Nothing of this country or their home country.  It would amount to solitary confinement on a prison ship at sea with NO visitors allowed aside from their cleric or the lawyers.

Regardless of their country of origin, they should receive no news from it. The logic being that if they renounced their own country and took an allegiance to this one and then betrayed it, they deserve no news  from either place.  Give them religious accommodation with a cleric from whatever religion they claim to be in–but do not let that cleric discuss news with them.

I think this would be a greater punishment than death or life in an American prison. Their actions would have real consequences. They would have no cause to support if they were stripped their countries, would they? I mean to the point to where there is NO television or radio either…

Their families would be notified of their well-being via a letter from them every week, but the offenders of this nature would only receive letters with notices of births, deaths and news of a personal nature–not anything that involves politics and such.  They would only be allowed on radio phone call with relatives after the death of an immediate family member, with clear instructions that if the family member tries to relay any news of either country, the call would abruptly be ended.

Does that sound too extreme?  Well…I wonder if they would be so eager to try to push their ideals and fear onto this country if they knew this would be the fate that awaited them…

I should give credit to the late Edward Everett Hale for this idea.  I really think as sad as the story “The Man Without a Country” is, it is far less tragic than the events we have seen unfold in this country in the past 13 years.  I think the concept of isolation and no news is worth some serious thought.  For whatever their cause is, it wouldn’t serve them well to receive this sentence.

At least I can honestly say it is an approach that has not been used before.  As long as they are fed, clothed and allowed their choice of whatever religion they want, a shower, and medical care  then they would be a lot better off than a lot of the American people are now. What do you think?

Well, that is my take on the subject and if it offends anyone, oh well…I’m used to that. If anyone has any other ideas that might ACTUALLY work, feel free to share them because after 13 years of crap, I’m open to something that might actually work as a solution.
